Liverpool officials have decided to sell midfielder Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid. The deal could be successfully finalized for around 30 million Euros. However, Liverpool coach Rafael Benitez has given 48 hours to Real to sign the Spanish international.if Xabi Alonso will join Real Madrid as expected, Liverpool will replace him with AS Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani or with Udinese's Gokhan Inler. The Reds have already prepared a bid of 18.5 million Euros for Aquilani.
